AN INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE SECTOR INVESTMENT CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION
FPCCI is organizing an “International Private Sector Investment Conference / Business Forum and Exhibition” for the promotion and enhancement of investment and trade ties between Pakistan and participating countries, under the kind patronage of H. E. Asif Ali Zardari, President, Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The Forum will be held in Islamabad on October 23-25, 2009 under the theme “Discover the Resources & Potential of Pakistan through Trade and not Aid.” Sheikh Humayun Sayeed, Chairman FPCCI Standing Committee on Foreign Investment & Trade Delegation met Mr. Akinori Wada, Consul General, Consulate General of Japan, Karachi and briefed him on the objectives of “International Private Sector Investment Conference/ Business Forum and Exhibition.” which is to deepen further private sector cooperation by focusing on key issues of interest, especially investment and strengthening the capacity in the field of Trade from the investors across the globe.

Mr. Wada has assured to extend his full support to this mega event of FPCCI. He apprised Mr. Humayun that the relevant information about this event will be passed to concerned authorities through their diplomatic channel to the concerned Ministry in Japan and Chambers of Commerce their, moreover he has assured participation of Japenese delegation of businessmen and Industrialist for this international mega event.
