 Mr. Sultan Ahmed Chawla, President FPCCI leader of Pakistan’s Trade Delegation to South Africa, Mr. Zakaria Usman & Mr. Mumtaz Ali Sheikh, Vice Presidents FPCCI left for South Africa to attend business meetings scheduled to be held from Feb 14-19, 2010 with the objective of establishing cooperatives body on a private initiative so as to bring closer the business communities of Pakistan and South Africa.

Mr. Khurram Sayeed Appointed CEO of IRAN-PAK WIND POWER (Pvt) Ltd. |

 Mr. Khurram Sayeed has been appointed as the first CEO of Iran-Pak Wind Power (Pvt) Ltd. This is first of its kind project in the private sector among companies of Iran and Pakistan for the purpose of setting up a 50 MW Wind Farm. The company has been incorporated in Pakistan along with the Iranian Group Sunir who have a 50% stake in the project.

Tariq Sayeed Tenure Termed As Golden Era of SAARC CCI History |

 The Business Community in South Asia has highly applauded the dedicated efforts of Mr. Tariq Sayeed for promotion of economic cooperation in South Asia during his term as the President, SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SAARC CCI) for the year 2008-09 and termed his tenure as the Golden Era of the history of SAARC CCI since its inception in 1993.
The dedicated services of Mr. Tariq Sayeed were acknowledged in the 47Th Executive Committee Meeting and 15th General Assembly held on 17th January, 2010 at Dhaka , Bangladesh . Mr. Annisul Huq, a leading businessman of Bangladesh and the President Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry has taken over as the President of SAARC CCI for the term (2010-2011). Mr. Iftikhar Ali Malik, VP-SAARC CCI( Pakistan ) will continue his present position for next two years.

Pak- China Economic cooperation FPCCI & CCIPT SICHUAN Council Sign MoU |

 The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the China Council for Promotion of International Trade, Sichuan Council (CCIPT Sichuan Council) while recognizing the immense possibilities of improving economic and commercial ties between Pakistan and China signed MoU on 29th January 2010 at Chengdu.
Mr. Tariq Sayeed former President FPCCI and Mr. Li Gang, Chairman, CCIPT Sichuan Council signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
